Adam Dickerson is a Colorado native and Colorado College alum (Art Studio, ‘13). After training under Patrizia Herminjard and Debbie Mercer at CC, Adam moved to NYC to perform with Graham 2, H.T. Chen & Dancer’s, Amy Marshall Dance Company, and Paul Taylor Dance Company. Adam founded Fooju Dance Collaborative in 2014 as an experimental performance art group that sought to subvert the expectations of classical dance by dancing anywhere but on stage. While performing and touring as a dancer, Adam turned to the world of group fitness for additional strength and conditioning training. In 2015 he began teaching at Physique 57 and in 2018 at Obé Fitness, which would lead to his certifications: Personal Trainer (NASM) and Mobility Specialist (FRC). Past group fitness opportunities for Adam included teaching in boutique fitness studios in Manhattan, Brooklyn, LA, the Hamptons, and highlighting self-care and motivation techniques on ABC News. In 2024, Adam moved back to Colorado Springs to combine his passion for dance, music, and healthy movement with a mobility joint-training class called Up&Adam. In the Spring of 2025, Adam was a guest teacher at CC for the Body in Motion 8th Block. Now in the coming 2025-2026 school year, Adam will join faculty at both UCCS and CC to teach Mobility, Ballet, and Contemporary Dance. Adam looks forward to continuing coaching dancers and pedestrians alike to learn how to move pain-free in their bodies by fortifying the mind.

Briana is originally from San Antonio and have spent the better part of her life in Black Forest. She finds inspiration and solace from nature, through various forms of art, hiking, and exploration.
Her first yoga practice was guided by an online instructor in 2008. After experiencing awareness of breath with movement, she was intrigued and quickly began exploring various styles of yoga in public classes. In the years that followed, her practice remained public and yoga continued to serve as a precious tool to aid with physical and emotional stress. It was in the wake of birthing her son in the forest like snow white that her home practice was rekindled. The consistency of her practice was life transforming. The physical practice of yoga provided a way to explore self-love and acceptance on a physical, mental, and spiritual level. This new way of relating to herself and the world provided a path towards balance.
Driven by her desire to encourage others on their paths of self-love and acceptance, she enrolled and completed the 200-hour and 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program at Pranava Yoga Center under Hethyr Pletsch. She is passionate in assisting others in reconnecting with their power, body, and limitless potential.
Yoga is a gift that was shared with Bekah in 2013 when she was younger and uncoordinated. Yoga helped her create a strong foundation in life; supporting her to be more coordinated and in tune with her body. She noticed more strength and stability when walking and increased balance in her physical and emotional body. Her practice let her feel more connected and able to cope through her achilles tendon surgery and recovery in 2021 allowing her to maintain mind-body connection and her body moving with adjustments.
After receiving her 200hr YTT certificate in 2022 and becoming a reiki master healer in 2023 she inspires herself and others to never stop growing and expanding in their journey. Bekah is beyond excited to get to share her knowledge, story, and journey with others.
Bekah teaches yoga and offers reiki to share her knowledge and tools to help empower others to explore and grow in their wellness journey. Through mindful practices, she creates a space for connection with one's inner energy, personal healing, balance, and transformation. Karen's yoga journey began in her early 20s, and she's been continually inspired by the profound benefits it brings to her daily life, both on and off the mat. Yoga has become a cornerstone of her well-being, offering a sense of grounding and clarity that extends far beyond the studio. While she's been studying yoga and practicing many styles in her journey, she recently became a 200RYT in 2024. This has been an amazing gift to be able to share the practice of yoga with others. In her classes, she strives to create a practice that is accessible and welcoming to everyone, regardless of experience level. You will be encouraged to use props to support your body in your practice. Karen believes that yoga is for every body, and she is passionate about guiding students through mindful movement to cultivate a deeper connection to themselves.
When she's not practicing or teaching yoga, you'll find her working as a college professor (LinkedIn Profile) and leadership development coach (Aduri Strategies). Otherwise, embracing an active lifestyle, exploring the outdoors, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, traveling or getting lost in a good book. She believes in the power of movement, nourishment, and mindful living.
Chris was introduced to yoga as an off-season, cross-training exercise with his collegiate hockey and lacrosse team. As someone who loved to stretch after every workout, he did not appreciate that his teammates never took it seriously. He went back to the studio without them to learn more and made yoga a part of his daily routine. His yoga practice began purely as a physical exercise, never exploring the mental aspect and never knowing it even existed. After graduating and moving to Boston, Chris broadened his yoga experience after studying under the Boston Yoga School’s (BYS) diverse list of teachers. He latched onto the slower practices such as Yin and Restorative yoga, finding a deeper appreciation for self-care and mindfulness. Chris became a 200-hour RYT with BYS in 2015 and since then has come to understand the much deeper connection between the mind and body.
For yin classes, you will see how Chris highlights the importance of creating a “less is more” atmosphere. The agenda is to move into passive, but intense, floor-based poses while pushing yourself to your boundary of your natural range of motion. You will learn to quiet your mind and connect deeper with your body in order to completely reset for your next challenge.
For vinyasa classes, you will be provided with a fundamental outline for your own practice with options to attempt more challenging options. The goal is to create an atmosphere where you can take ownership of your movements and how far you want to push yourself. In a different way, you will learn to quiet your mind and connect deeper with your body and its movements.
Yoga has been part of Jackie's life since 2012. She was immediately attracted to the physicality of it. Her asana practice was irregular as she was intrigued by a variety of physical activities but over time, she noticed that yoga settled her body and mind. Years ago, a friend had asked her, “If money was no concern, what would you do?”. Her response was that she would teach yoga. That was the lightbulb moment that yoga was one thing that she would always came back to. With that, the journey of learning more about the discipline of yoga and incorporating it into everyday life evolved into the desire to share it with all.
Whether it's Vinyasa, Yin, Energy Medicine Yoga, or a unique blended style, Jackie guides students of all levels through a practice that hopefully produces some level of self-realization and connection to Self. At the very least, she holds space for others to leave their day at the door and think about nothing else than moving their bodies and purposefully breathing.

Guided by her own journey of growth and resilience, Heather blends gentle encouragement with a focus on alignment, breathwork, and intentional flow. Her classes aim not only to strengthen the body but also to nourish the mind and spirit—offering students a safe space to pause, reflect, and ground themselves.
Drawing from her life experiences, Heather brings a unique perspective on balance, adaptability, and finding peace in life’s transitions. She encourages her students to embrace the present moment, honor their personal paths, and find the beauty in showing up exactly as they are.
Over the past five years, Tara’s work kept her traveling often—more time sitting, less time riding. When doctors began discussing a possible knee replacement, she returned to the yoga mat to explore alternative ways to heal. What she found was more than recovery—through steady Hatha yoga practice, she rebuilt strength, restored flexibility, and reconnected with her body from the inside out.
Tara’s teaching is shaped by her dressage background, where horse and rider move as one—“two spines align.” In her classes, you’ll start with the breath, build focus to support and protect the spine, and gradually deepen into postures that enhance both strength and ease. Her goal is simple: to help you develop body awareness, cultivate an intentional mind-body connection, and feel more balanced and at home in your body—whether on the mat, in the saddle, or in everyday life.
Originally from the beautiful east coast of Canada, Amanda discovered yoga while living in Toronto during her time as an actress. What started as a supportive tool for breath control and grounding during performances quickly evolved into a powerful practice for healing, self-discovery, and inner connection. Twelve years ago, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue voiceover work, and through all of life’s highs and lows, yoga remained her anchor. That deep, steady connection eventually led Amanda to complete her yoga teacher training—and she's been teaching ever since. For the past 8 years, she's specialized in Hot Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, guiding students through practices that meet them exactly where they are—physically, emotionally, and energetically. She truly believes that yoga offers us what we need in the moment and reflects back the wisdom already within us. In 2019, Amanda became a Reiki Master and Energy Practitioner, and she now offers energy healing sessions that work with the chakras, color therapy, and frequency healing. When it feels aligned, she loves weaving this work into her yoga classes to help students tap into deeper layers of balance and self-awareness. Four years ago, my family and I moved to Colorado Springs in search of nature, space, and community. She currently teaches at Praxis Yoga and offers healing sessions from her cozy backyard studio, affectionately called the “soul shed.” Whether you're stepping onto the mat or into a healing session, her intention is always the same: to create a space where you can reconnect, release, and come home to yourself. www.alignwithamanda.org
